We announced at the beginning of the month that the University has been selected to participate in another copyright monitoring survey. This time the survey monitors our use of TV and radio broadcasts for teaching purposes. While the survey is mandatory – it is part of our legal obligations in return for the right to be able to use broadcasts for teaching – not all staff will be required to participated. Each time, the survey is run at the University a number of departments are selected to participate. The lucky departments have been chosen – check the list here to see if you are one.
We’ll be getting in contact with departments shortly to let them know that they have been selected and asking them to nominate a Copyright Survey Coordinator. The Copyright Survey Coordinator will attend a training session to find out more about the survey and how it will run. They will then be the local expert for their department and a liaison between the Copyright Office and their department.
Stay up to date with what happening as we prepare for the survey by reading this blog or visiting our website.
