Help the Library to better support your research and teaching practices: complete the survey to tell us how do you find, use, collect and store research data, teaching materials, articles and other scholarly information.
The survey is open to any member of the University of Melbourne’s academic staff — continuing, fixed-term, casual, early career, mid career, late career, from tutor to Professor Emeritus. It should require no more than 20-25 minutes to complete. Participation is both anonymous and voluntary.
The survey is here: go.unimelb.edu.au/us8n
The questionnaire is modelled on large-scale surveys conducted by Ithaka S+R in the UK and USA in 2012. In Australia the survey is being run concurrently at the University of New South Wales, University of Sydney, University of Queensland, University of Western Australia and the University of Melbourne.
Each institution will receive a report on its local results. The University of Melbourne report will inform University Library planning and service improvements for 2014-15.
