IMAGES – they’re creative, they can be beautiful, they can be inspiring, they can be interesting and, as the saying goes – ‘a picture says a thousand words’ – so why wouldn’t you want to use them?!
One of the things we find when we talk to people is that they’re afraid of using images because of copyright. What we want you all to understand is that copyright serves two purposes – yes, one of those purposes is to protect material, but the other purpose of copyright is to provide the community with the ability to use material.
Knowing when you can and how to to do it properly can be a little tricky, so this month, while we focus on the subject of images, we hope to help you understand the when and the how a little better.
Stay tuned for the upcoming posts and if you have a question or would like us to talk about something, drop us a comment!
