Hi all!
Apologies for the lack of recent posts. We’ve had some staffing changes and it’s taken a bit of a toll.
I know it’s November and time for us to talk about something else BUT just to close up Open Access, here’s an article about the Aaron Swartz case.
For those of you that didn’t manage to hear about it, in a nut shell – Aaron Swartz was making a one man protest in favour of Open Access for information. The problem was that he was doing so by attempting to download as many articles as possible from the journal database JSTOR with the intention of making them available on the net for Open Access.
