University Digitisation Service – for scanning services & advice
brooke on February 14th, 2011
On behalf of Joe Arthur and the UDS team:
We provide a range of digitisation services to the University community, digitising primarily prioritised items from the Library collections, various corporate & research records, and provide advice on standards, equipment etc.
We have a website http://www.digitisation.unimelb.edu.au/ to showcase our services, and to provide information about digitisation more generally. The site includes contact information, digitisation standards, resources and links to other relevant sites both within and outside the University.
Much our collections digitisation work is discoverable on the institutional repository. Follow this link to access text searchable PDFs of the Marshall-Hall Orchestral Concert Programs 1892–1910

Either copyright clearance or properly documented permission is a requirement for items nominated for digitisation. The UDS works closely with the Copyright Office to ensure compliance.
